About us
Dan and Kathy Drake are from Tallahassee, FL and travel the United States and Canada with their trusty navigator, Fern. We've been camping together since we married and spent our honeymoon tent camping in the mountains of North Carolina. As we got more experienced and discovered the wonderful world of Colorado, we spent many summers camping in and around the Gunnison valley and exploring the West.
After tent camping for a few years, we decided to upgrade to a pop up camper to protect our aging backs. As the kids got older, we moved up to a 26ft Class C which served us for over 10 years. Now that the kids are grown, we recently sold the Class C and downsized to a Class B Winnebago Solice 59PX. This summer we are going to Alaska and back with a stop in Seattle, and this is our documentaion of the trip.
